Some of you may recognize the lyrics of this song from the musical Carousel, the second musical by the team of Rodgers and Hammerstein.   

Let’s talk about things that are synonymous with the month of June.  Well, there are blue skies, beaches are open, fish are biting, school is out, flowers are blooming, ice cream trucks are circling the neighborhoods, we’re mid-way through the year and it is certainly time to start rearranging our closets, by storing the bulky clothes that kept us warm through the winter months.

Speaking of packing up the bulky winter clothes, June is also a time to think about adding some new “summer” fabrics to what you already own.
